It was the first of the Adur Festival 2015 meetings last night where we were invited to be part of the panel giving advice etc about running events, it was really great to see so many there.

It was also the day that the licence was granted for a festival at the airport, which will probably be the middle weekend of the Adur Festival and the same dates as ours and other community organised events on 6th and 7th June.

This year’s Adur Festival is 30th May ~ 14th June and is now in its 28th year, I believe, and will again be tying in with the Adur Arts Trail.

Will the airport festival affect the Adur Festival and our 6th annual Military History event? As a charity we really hope not, as it costs in the region of £2,500~£3,000 to run. So here’s to staying our usual positive selves in hoping that the wonderful support we have had over the past 5 years will continue and grow this year.

With the above question in mind……. Are there any ‘sensible’ suggestions as to what people would like to see at our event? We like to think we already appeal to all but we are never closed to the communities suggestions of how we can improve/alter/add to the great family friendly and fun experience we try to provide – let us know.
