Peter, one of our volunteers, has made a model of the artillery train that was produced by the 1st Sussex Artillery Volunteers in 1894. The first ever artillery train that could fire a full 360 degrees without falling off the rails.

The model will be shown for the first time at the Sompting & District Model Railway club exhibition which is being held at Sompting Village Hall, Saturday 11th May (10:00 – 17:00) & Sunday 12th May (10:00 – 16:30).
