battery faced the sea with the River Arun on its west boundary and the
sloping ramp facing in land A;
platform where seven cannons were mounted B;
protective earth bank behind the gunners C;
sloping ramp, which the cannon were drawn D;
stables E;
magazine F;
artillery store G; Master Gunner’s quarters This Gun battery now forms part of the Harbour Park Amusement Park and is currently being used for a crazy golf coarse |
