Shoreham Fort

 

This is a search light tower from world war 2

It is situated next to the fort and would have looked out to sea for possible invaders, using a large light that it housed.

 

Today the tower is used by the

 

National Coastwatch Institution

 

They use it, still to look out to see, but they are looking for people in danger
